Meet Guty and Jose
Mano A Mano Boxing Club began with two friends who understood struggle and believed boxing could change a kid’s life the same way it changed theirs.
Guty Villa and Jose Limon built this gym because they saw a real need in their community. Kids looking for guidance. Teens needing structure. Adults looking for a place to breathe and grow again.
They created a gym where everyone feels welcome. A place where nobody gets judged for where they start. A place where an eight-year-old walking in scared for the first time receives the same support and encouragement as an amateur preparing to compete.
Inside Mano A Mano, every round completed and every glove laced means more than just training. It represents confidence, growth, discipline, and a sense of belonging.
Guty and Jose have coached countless fighters, but the victories they value most are the ones outside the ring. The shy kid who starts to believe in himself. The teen who finds direction. The adult who finds peace and purpose in the grind.
To them, boxing is more than a sport. It is a family. It is a path. It is a chance to become stronger inside and out.
That is Mano A Mano
A gym built with heart
A gym built with purpose
A gym built for everyone
